Vineyards:

This vineyard located 15 km from Orléans and already
existing back in the mists of time, currently benefits from the
ORLEANAIS VDQS appellation since 1951. It covers 5 villages (Mareau-aux-Près,
Cléry St. André, St. Hilaire St.Mesmin, Mézières-les-Cléry and Olivet)
and extends over 150 hectares, with an average annual production of
7,000 hectolitres.
A dossier for graduating to the AOC appellation was filed in 1987. On

red with a Pinot grape base) and Orléans Cléry (red with a 100%
Cabernet franc base).Currently, the winegrowers are awaiting the
signature of the Minister of Agriculture to pass the final hurdle that
will open the way to the AOC (Appellation d'Origine Controlée).
