At the beginning of the 21st century, we
are always trying to seek out the sights and smells of our childhood
to provide us with a sense of security, with a desire to return to
real values.
The Orléans Cotignac with its soft paste made from quince jelly, in
its spruce bark box bearing the picture of Joan of Arc, reminds us of
those lovely childhood moments when our tongue discovered the sweet
taste of coloured toffees.
Lots of children today get very excited about this Orléanais treat,
just as the daughters of the King Louis XV did all those years ago.
So let's make sure that our children enjoy the inimitable taste of the
Cotignac d'Orléans.
